I think I got this from watching too much TV. And the fact that the Australian Open is showing live on Star Sports certainly does not help.
While watching Amelie Mauresmo crash out of the Australian Open yesterday, I kept racking my brains trying to figure out what would make her look softer, more feminine. Then something else dawned on me.... Holy c**p, she looks like somebody famous. A flurry of other images then entered this obviously rusty, unoiled brain of mine.
I hereby present to you what I think are uncanny resemblances in tennis:
# 1: Roger Federer and Joaquin Phoenix
Ok, this is very obvious. Both have the same hairstyle, bushy brows, deep set eyes and a smile that will make you wonder where their teeth went. Photos courtesy of askmen.com and sexymanonearth.com
# 2: Novak Djokovic and Milo Ventimiglia
I think Novak Djokovic is hot, and he has a good sense of humor to boot. Milo Ventimiglia, (Peter Petrelli in Heroes), who I declare is equally hot, would definitely do him justice. Photos courtesy of tennis.com and topsocialite.com
# 3: Jelena Dokic and Mena Suvari

Forgive me for being mean, but I saw images of William Wallace (Mel Gibson's character in Braveheart) shouting "FREEEEDOM" while Mauresmo was grimacing for every unforced errors she made. Photos courtesy of imstars,aufeminin.com and images.art.com
